Book Review
I actually hit 15 books this year. Super excited with the journey and all the characters I've come across. From giant dragons threatening the Multiverse, to powers of metallic-origins, to _Inception_-like worlds, to a drag queen sorceress, to paper-based magic, and so much more.
Book Review
I read a buuuuuunch of short stories this year, and even threw in a book at the last minute just for funsies: Midnight Riot, by Ben Aaronovitch; The Ballad of Black Tom, by Victor LaValle; Dread Nation, by Justina Ireland; and many more!

One surprises, one disappoints, and another is as good as expected. Can you guess which? Labryinth Lost, by Zoraida Cordova; Wild Seed, by Octavia Butler; and The Obleisk Gate, by N. K. Jemisin

Neither of these stories ended up like I thought they would: The Root, by Na'amen Tilahun; and The Fifth Season, by N.K. Jemisin

Three more books read: Children of Blood and Bone, by Tomi Adeyemi; Kindred, by Octavia Butler; and The Darkest Minds, Alexandra Bracken

My thoughts on the first two books I read this year: Superhuman, by Michael Carrol; and Pangaea, by Jarrod King.
